What the Designation Means
The Microsoft Solutions Partner designation in Digital and App Innovation is awarded to partners who have demonstrated consistent delivery of Azure-based application solutions, a certified team, and measured customer outcomes. It sits within Microsoft's Partner Network and replaces the previous Gold/Silver competency structure that was retired in 2022.
To earn it, a partner must accumulate Partner Capability Score points across three areas:
- Performance — Net new Azure consumed revenue and new customer acquisition
- Skilling — Number of certified individuals on the team in relevant Azure certifications
- Customer success — Deployment scores from Microsoft-verified customer engagements
Why It Matters for Clients
When you engage a Microsoft Solutions Partner, you get access to things that are not available to non-designated partners. Our clients benefit from priority access to Microsoft engineering support, co-sell opportunities that reduce licensing costs, and early access to Azure preview features that are not yet in general availability.
