Clinical Data Intelligence Platform
Client: Seattle Genetics
A leading biotech firm was managing clinical trial data across 50+ active studies using siloed data stores, manual classification workflows, and static reporting tools that could not keep pace with the volume and complexity of incoming data. Analysts were spending the majority of their time on data preparation rather than interpretation, creating a bottleneck that was slowing trial timelines.
Canviz built an AI-powered clinical data intelligence platform — Atlas — that ingests structured and unstructured trial data, classifies and normalizes it using a custom ML pipeline built on Azure AI, and surfaces insights through interactive Power BI dashboards embedded directly in the platform. Senior data scientists at Canviz worked alongside the client's clinical team to design the classification model and validate its accuracy against historical trial records before go-live.
Atlas reduced the time analysts spend on data preparation by 65%. The ML classification pipeline achieves 94% accuracy on novel trial data, validated against a held-out test set. Study teams can now generate cross-trial comparisons in minutes that previously required days of manual extraction. The platform is actively used across all ongoing Phase II and Phase III studies.
